• Scrub tiles and grout to remove construction dust and residue.

Floors and Carpets:

• Sweep and mop hard floors, removing dust, dirt, and any stains.

• Spot clean any paint, adhesive, or construction marks on floors.

Final Touches:

• Ensure all closets, cabinets, and storage areas are clean inside and out.

• Check and clean all corners, edges, and hard-to-reach areas for dust or residue.

• Remove any lingering odors by airing out the space.

• Perform a final walkthrough to check for any missed areas or marks

• Check for any left-behind personal items.

• Disinfect high-touch surfaces (light switches, remote controls, door handles).

• Check lighting (replace any burnt-out bulbs).

• Fluff pillows and arrange furniture neatly.

 Bedrooms:

• Strip bed linens and pillowcases.

• Replace with clean sheets, pillowcases, and blankets.

• Dust all surfaces (headboards, nightstands, dressers).

• Wipe down mirrors and window sills.

• Vacuum or mop floors, as applicable.

• Empty trash cans and replace liners.

• Ensure bedside lamps and outlets are working.

 Bathrooms:

• Scrub and disinfect toilet, sink, and shower/tub.

• Clean mirrors and faucets.

• Replace towels, bath mats, and hand towels with fresh ones.

• Replenish toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper).

• Check for mold, mildew, or grime in grout or corners.

• Sweep and mop the floor.

• Empty trash cans and replace liners.

• Clean and polish all chrome fixtures.

• Check for leaks or clogs in faucets or drains.

 Kitchen:

• Clean and disinfect countertops, stovetop, and sink.

• Wipe down cabinet fronts and appliances.

• Clean inside and outside of the microwave.

• Check refrigerator for leftover food; wipe shelves if necessary.

• Clean and polish all stainless steel appliances.

• Sweep and mop the floor.

• Take out trash and recycling.

• Check pantry and fridge for expired items.

• Replenish basics (paper towels, coffee, tea, etc.).

 Dining Area:

• Wipe down dining table and chairs.

• Vacuum or mop floor.

• Arrange chairs neatly around the table.

• Check for stains or spills on furniture or upholstery.

 Outdoor Spaces (if applicable):

• Sweep patios, balconies, or decks.

• Wipe down outdoor furniture.

• Check for cobwebs or debris in corners or near doors.

• Empty outdoor trash bins.

Final Touches:

• Ensure all doors and windows are locked.

• Check for any strong odors and air out the space if necessary.

• Arrange decorative items neatly (throw pillows, blankets, etc.).

• Set thermostat to appropriate temperature.

• Place welcome book or any guest instructions in a visible spot.

• Confirm all amenities (Wi-Fi, TV, etc.) are functional.
